Dress Like a Teacher Day

Ollie with his badge, lanyard, whistle, and sass ready to coach it up.

I thought it was so sweet seeing the boys backpacks hung up with their teacher id's for the next morning.

A couple of PE coaches.

7:Baby Beluga

7 months old over here.  Noey decided to conquer the bulk of his remaining milestones this past month, which is leaving his forehead all red and goose egg-y.  He's a big fan of chowing down and will gladly gobble whatever happens to be on his bitty spoon with the consistent exception of green beans.  When he wakes up from a nap he yells or cries and then if you tell him, "I hear you Noley!  I'm coming!" he just sits there and waits patiently, ready to smile big smiles and flap his arms with sheer delight when he sees you.  He goes absolutely nuts when Jon comes home and wriggles out of my arms or crawls as fast as he can over to see him.  He doesn't babble a whole lot, but kinda yells, and makes a lot of raspberry type faces.  Everything he sees MUST go in his mouth.  He's no longer a fan of the excersaucer or bouncer because he wants to be on the go.  It's become almost impossible to change his diaper.  You really need to be ready to pin him down or have a line-up of distractions readily available.  He's got a good, "huh, huh, huh" type laugh and is so super ticklish.  I also put him in the middle of the living room floor the other day while I did an exercise DVD and he laughed his head off for a good 25 minutes watching me.

Living the High Life, but no Longer on High Trails

Two of the major reasons for our trip: showing off Noley and meeting Gretsy!!

Gretel, 2 months.  Nolan, 6 months.

Luke, the ultimate photo bomber.

Tiny babe!  Still fitting perfectly in the sink!

Lots of play time on the floor of the new living room.

Basically Noey grew up three months while we were at the Stegners.  I blame that healthy mountain air.  He can now crawl, pull up, and get himself in a sitting position.

Nolan was a baby Godzilla compared to dainty G.

The kid crew minus Jube who was at school.

Jon and Gretsy!

The Stegners no longer live on the side of a mountain, but there is still a steep driveway for some fast bike riding!  (Seth and Luke)

Walking to the park really wore these two out.

Such a sweet lil face!

Park relaxing.

Brave Pearl on the merry go round.  Hold on!

Cheese!

Post park popsicle.

I can't tell if Lu is feeding Noley a popsicle or a tape measure.
Payback, I suppose, because we always like to tell the story of how a 1 or 2 year old Ollie fed a 6 or 7 month old Lu cat food.

Scavenger hunt items, found!

Jon and Foy checking out some books.

Bedtime books with Luke and baby G.

Jubal testing out his sticky hand in Nolan's hair.

Durango rec center, one of our favorite pools on the planet!
Lil G's first swim.

Papa Johns at the park for lunch after swimming.

Taco bout how cute I am!

Hike time!

Praying Mantis we found on the back screen door.

Noley, trying out some of Gretsy's accessories.

Gazing out the window at some early morning deer.  (Ollie, Foy, Luke, and Joy)

Church Line up. (Seth, Jon, Luke, Ollie, Jubal, and Foy)

Look at this picture!!
Why are Gretsy and Pearl taking it?!  We need a couple more girls represented!!

Dinner!

Nolan and Daddy.

Noley was basically on a bottle hunger strike the entire trip and only wanted to eat table food or baby food.  We tried to tell him he was only six months, but he would not listen.

Noey's first tomato.

A bunch of boys and a statue.

Whew!  That was a big photo dump and a super fun weekend!  Thanks, Stegners, for having us!!

The help couldn't get any cuter!
In keeping with my whee blog post, how about these little helpers from the first post on this blog?
