Running and Running

Finished! He was the first one done in all of 1st grade.

We also ran a 5K a couple weekends ago on a chilly Saturday morning.

Ollie was so pumped.

Nolan ran the entire 5K. I was really impressed.

Nolan and Ollie both got 2nd place in there age categories. They are both such good runners. It is so very impressive to me.

3 Day Weekend!

Off to Lubbock over MLK weekend. Jennifer bought her first house and we got to be some of her first houseguests, but somehow we failed to get even one picture of her or the house. 

There are always babies to hold in Lubbock! This is Jake and Nancy's youngest, Viviane. 

Church! I got super teared up at the end. I am so grateful for all the wonderful people God put in our life through this Church and for the sound teaching from Dusty and the pastors. 

Yay for time with Spencer and Mason!

Lincoln and Nolan continue to be two peas in a pod. Nolan spent the following week back home begging for me to take him to doctor so he could get hearing aids too. 

We also got to get together with Sam, Laura, and their brood. Someone decided that Jon would look better with rainbow hair. 

It was such a great weekend. Time with Logan, dinner out with Dan and Eryn. Time with Sam and Laura and their kids. Getting to help Jennifer set up parts of her new house. We logged lots and lots of laughs and hit the road back home Monday afternoon with our buckets full. 

Football

 We started Christmas break with a trip to Houston to watch the Chiefs play the Texans. It was an easy weekend trip and so much fun.

Jon and Ollie had so much fun, they made another day trip 10 days later with our neighbors, whose favorite team happens to be the Texans.
