Today is the day! The first thing SuperMan asked me this morning was, "Ababa here?" We are ready!!! 5:45 pm, get here fast! Airlines, no delays permitted today, please!
We just got home from a well check and the boys did so well. Some friends were telling me about getting your flu shot as a nasal spray, rather than a traditional shot. I was thankful for that, as SuperMan was already getting 5 today. He is 100% caught up now, and will not need anything else until he is 7. Whew.
He also did such a great job of calming down after the ordeal. Such a big change from our shots months ago where he would literally cry and scream for hours after we got home. Skittles, hugs and kisses from mama, and some well-timed presents from grandma did the trick.
Also, big news!! Bear finally made it on the growth chart for weight! Fifth percentile, baby!! All that whole milk with Carnation Instant Breakfast is finally paying off. ;)
We went to Dairy Queen after the appointment. Every day when we drive by, Bear says, "gee sigh? Peese, now?" Translation: "green slide? Please now?" We finally went today and it turns out that the green slide and play place could rival Mount Midoriyama from America Ninja Warrior. Not at all 2 year old friendly, and I quickly found myself on some kind of rope/net bridge tunnel thing. Let me tell you, a great time was had by all. Please read my sarcasm in that statement.
Here's the boys info:
Bear: 25ish months
Weight: 23 lbs 8 oz (5th percentile)
Height: 33.2" (25th percentile)
He is wearing sizes 18 months and 24 months.
SuperMan: 4 years old!
Weight: 38 lbs even (75th percentile)
Height: 41.5" (90th percentile)
He is wearing size 4T clothes.
