First post of June and it's already the 9th!!? That's a little hard to believe! We've been trying to strike the perfect balance of keeping busy and being lazy around these parts.
We've got an extra little buddy (as Ollie calls our babies) for the week. We are doing respite for a family and taking care of their 16 month old, Mia. Last night Jon was washing up the dinner dishes, Seth was sprawled out on his bed surrounded by books and his library reading log, Ollie was running around trying to get Mia to chase him, and Nolan was napping. I was quite content to wander through the house from room to room with a smile on my face, feeling quite thankful for these people and our life together.
Seth has spent his mornings this week at the Ranching Heritage Center summer camp. He comes home excited to talk about making butter and biscuits at the chuckwagon and ways to conserve water.

We saw Harlin the Magician at the library. The highlight was definitely when Ollie got called up as helper and Harlin's trick didn't work out, so he had to turn his back to the audience to get his cards in order.
And of course, we've played.
And napped.
What can I say? It's been tough. ;)
