Let me start with these pictures and you can see why the blog posts have been few and far between.... we are in project mode! No real after pictures yet, so I'll save that post for another day.
We were so glad to have Mimi and Momo here for a while! They flew home last Thursday and Noey has been walking around asking, "Momo? Mimi?" every day. We were all sad to see them go!
This is what happens when you let the Turkey carry the turkey.
Jon took Ollie and a couple buddies to a Tech game the day they got out for Christmas break. Seth opted for watching Frosty at home.
Our sons!
We don't get much cuter!
Okay, maybe just a little cuter.
About to head out the door for our Christmas Eve service.
Nolan and Momo with Noley's beloved computer.
And finally Christmas morning!
Nolan's big hits were four new balls, a Thomas Lego set (which, so darling, he calls Tommy), and a Daniel Tiger trolley. Oh! He also loves his new bike helmet to go along with his bike seat!
Ollie got the yo-yo of his dreams and he has gotten quite good! The major player of the morning was.... a new bike! With hand breaks!! His sweet gratitude for his gifts makes my heart swell and want to give him the moon. He's still thanking us for that bike.
Seth got a new bike as well and was pretty pumped. A few star wars toys, legos, and the Force Awakens rounded it all out for him.
Here is everyone on their new bikes! First bike ride with all five of us!
Then I got a turn on the bike with Nolan's new seat. We've gone out a few more times, but now the weather is in the 20's! In fact, in these pictures I felt like it was too cold for Nolan to even wear his new helmet.
He does love to sport it, though!
The boys with new jammies getting ready to introduce M&M to the Force Awakens.
And the next day watching the Last Jedi in the theatre. (My opinion? An hour too long!!)
We rounded out the fun with cards, a new game called Kingdomino (look it up! I recommend!), and lefse, of course!
Seth at the wheel.
We have even had a dusting of snow a couple different days. Ollie doesn't pass up a chance to play and then come in for hot drinks!
Last night we went to a friends casino night New Year's Eve party. Jon, Nolan, and I rocked the roulette table. If only we were playing for real, 2018 would be looking real fun. But let's be honest, if we were playing with real money, Jon and I would be too cautious to join. I bet even without our real or otherwise winnings, 2018 will be a great year.
Happy New Year!
