Nolan's grade level did a performance on the Legend of the Hutto Hippo for their end of year show and it was delightful. Nolan had been telling me he really didn't want to go and didn't want to dress up, so I was oh-so-surprised when he fully sang every song and did every motion. (He is in the front row towards the right.) It was so cute, possibly compounded by the feeling he was not going to engage. I think the day of not participating in class performances is not far off, so I enjoyed this one immensely.
