Love Us Some M&M's!

After we got back from visiting Seth, Mimi and Momo came to stay for a couple weeks. We had all kinds of fun and were glad to spend time with them!

We had another Christmas, can't get enough!

We played games and lit sparklers on New Year's Eve.
(Ollie made a New Year's resolutions for the first time: to own and read all the Dogman books.)

The early morning coffee, games, and double breakfast crew.

We tested out the new Cheesecake Factory. Two thumbs up all around.

Mimi helped me throw my friend Johanna a baby shower.

Krystal, Laura, me, Eryn, and Johanna
(For when I'm 80 and re-reading my blog and I can't remember my dear friends' names.)

Meanwhile, the guys went to a Tech basketball game.

We went thrifting and found this awesome Chewy costume. The tag says it's Seth's size, but apparently it's meant to be baggy, because Jon can also wear it. Nolan was so hilarious with this "bear". First he was completely perplexed by Jon in costume, then asking about it later, "where the bear go?" and "Imma gonna hug/shoot/kill dat bear."

Nolan was instrumental in protecting Momo from frequent indoor showers.

We spent an afternoon gaming with a gift card to an arcade. In my opinion that's the only way to tackle an arcade. The free way, ha.

Nolan talked Ollie and Momo into quite a few backyard soccer matches.

And a few basketball shooting rounds.

Ollie tried to play all of his charm and cutie cards to stay up past bedtime.

Nolan explored, our little adventurer.

And looked super cute in any and all windows.

Of course, we all probably gained a minuim of 5 pounds (except the 2 that actually need to gain some weight.) (Hint: I'm not one of the 2.)

Top it all off with some football...

and of course some naps.

Glad you came M&M!! Hope to see you this summer on your turf!

Christmas Catch-Up

Maybe I can get the rest of the Christmas pictures posted before February??

I've got some pictures of Seth I wanted to post from our trip down to see him right after Christmas. Although we love Seth tremendously, it's been so hard to sort out my feelings about his current placement, therefore hard to write about. That is probably the reason I haven't posted anything in a month.

He has done fantastically in his treatment center and is in the home stretch. We will plan on going to get him on Feb 22nd to bring him home. Noey has asked everyday this week, "hey mom, can I see Seys (Seth)? I see Seys in a month?" Seth himself is also quite eager to come home, a mixture of excitement and nervousness.

Nolan needed to get in on the action.

Grandma and Grandpa got these new pokemon pj's for Seth and at first glance I thought they would be enormous..... but, they fit perfectly. This kiddo is growing up!

Seth, we love you and will see you very soon!
