First Weekend Away

He are some pictures from our first trip since the 30 hour one.  You know, the one where we promised we would never travel again.  Let me just tell you now that we did a terrible job taking pictures.  In fact, our good friends Ryan and Susan got to meet the boys, but you will never know that since we didn't take a single picture.

2 Months

"Oh wow! 2 Months already?"

Some highlights...

• O is crawling, crawling, crawling!
• O laughs hysterically when I tell him no.  That's a language barrier thing, not a difficult child temperament, right?
• Two teeth!
• Our first case of west Texas allergies about did everyone in.  Thanks, haboob.
• S-Man finally saw windshield wipers and shouted "WOW!" every time they were used.
• S is speaking and understanding so much English.  He proved this the other night by talking in his sleep using English for the first time. 
• "Let's go!" still sounds a lot like "Mex-i-co!"

Dupre Dophins swim with PRIDE!

My former co-workers were so sweet and threw us a welcome home party at school last week.  Big Man S was feeling a little nervous when we walked into school and saw so many kids getting ready to leave, but  was right at home when we spotted the big bowl of m&ms in the library waiting for us.  He eagerly sampled some, then stuck his hand right in the cake.  Classic. 

The boys got to meet lots of mama's teaching buds, eat some cake, and open presents.  I think it's safe to say the ground work has been laid for S thinking school is a super awesome place.

Mimi's Birthday

Mimi came down while the Hubs was on his tree run, and it was perfect because we got to celebrate her birthday with her!

Once again, ears were cleaned after cake was eaten.  There seems to be a trend forming.

We were really glad to be able to celebrate with you Mimi!

The Hubs is out of town for the first time since we all came home.  Big Man S was pretty impressed with the truck Ababa was driving. 

You better believe that baby is loaded down with trees.  Any guesses on how many seedlings fit in a 26 foot truck?

Teeth!

Remember a month ago when I said that lil'O was a day away from having a tooth?  Well, I was wrong.  But it's here!  It's finally here!  He's constantly running his tongue over it, so I can't really get any good pictures. 

Here's another thing O's been doing for a while that is impossible to get a good picture of.... crawling!

Fall Crafts

Super easy and cheap to make! I just printed out letters, traced them onto cardboard, cut them out, and wrapped with yarn.  Fun!
