Thursday Happenings

Happy Baby!
Noey's current number one thing to induce baby guffaws: Put your face close to his and shake your head.  Cracks him up every time.  That and his bouncer here.  Lots of baby giggles in the bouncer.

Oh brother, Ollie.

This is our friend Camille!  She was once a Tech student and has since moved to Dallas for grad school.  She stopped by for a quick lunch on her way through Lubbock the other day and it was lovely!  She did lots of babysitting for our small group at church, and Seth (maybe age 4?) could never remember her name and always called her 'the nicest girl in the world'.  After a few months of reminding him of Camille, we all gave up and referred to her as the nicest girl in the world collectively.  Then she felt bad getting on to Seth or other kids at small group for being crazy, and asked us to stop calling her the nicest girl in the world.  Of course we all did as she asked, but I'm just not sure Seth ever did learn her name.

I'm just posting this one to show off our new bathroom again.  :)

Don't ask me what they get up to behind closed doors.

Ollie and Seth at the Ag museum.  Jon had his big landowners conference and the boys and I came out to support him.  He had a great meeting and we had fun going through the museum and eating lots of pie thanks to delish catering.

Seth had been wanting a tablet and has been saving up for a good long while.  He had $49 and to get to $50 he decided to pull a loose tooth earlier than perhaps he ought. It was grizzly but effective.  Oh happy day, he is now the proud owner of a kindle fire!  It took a lot of hard work and determination to get here with a weekly allowance of $2.  Way to go, Seth!

Ollie's Lab.  Reminds me of Lucy's psychiatry stand.

Jon doing a tree program at the library.

Jon's buddy Oakley.

And more happy baby to end with!
