Montana Wrap Up

Hello world! Let's get these MT recap pics up here!

Seth and Church Slough.

Dinner with my cousin Erica and her family.

Nolan's introduction to Quails.

Lots of trips on and excitement over the Rhino.

Keeping cozy in the chilly early morning air!

Nolan is the most interested in fishing out of all the boys. I don't think anything was caught, but he probably cast his line 100 times. (Momo took out his hook after Nolan caught Momo in the arm...oops.)

Can't go with out a trip to Tamarack. Yum.

Swimming time! We had fun jumping off the dock and floating around for sure. Nolan declared the water too cold and only went once or twice.

Kayak time!

Going out for breakfast in Big Fork. Ollie fell in love with scones on this trip, so we had to sample some of those as well.

Jon and I went up to Glacier one day and had an absolute blast. We hiked and did plenty of picture taking on the scenic over looks. After Jon and Seth flew home, Nolan, Ollie, and Momo and I spent a day up there as well. (There was considerably less enthusiasm about scenic over looks among the 10 and under crowd.)

I really tried to be careful when talking to Nolan to refer to our plans as "going to Glacier", rather than "going to Glacier Park", as I didn't want to hear whining and questions about why there wasn't a playground for hours. We did have fun playing in the snow, throwing rocks in the lake, climbing, and hiking though.

Mimi and went to a pottery class in Kalispell. We had a blast! She created a pig, mine a hippo (of course).

Ollie had his first experience at a summer camp on Flathead Lake and had an absolute blast. He was immediately talking about if he could go back next summer. Actually, he started the conversation by asking if he could go back next week. We were all really happy for him, it seemed like wonderful experience.

Too much playing! Nolan asleep on the living room rug.

Playing match with Momo.

Mimi and I went to the Big Fork Playhouse and saw Lucky Stiff. We both gave it two thumbs up.

Checking out a local brewery with Jon.

Just the blondies.

Yellow canola fields for miles!

Corn's turn. :)

Momo and Mimi know how to get ready for their visitors.

Nolan is the worst nap-interrupter you ever did meet.

Playing at the park.

I bought the cutest jammies ever in a gift shop. They say something about s'more sleep.

Seth's sitting tree.

Although we had a wonderful time, we may have been gone a little too long. Nolan got homesick and was so glad to see his puppies when we got home. Poor Kingsely was stuck like this for a while. Ha.

Montana is always a definite highlight of the summer! Sorry it has already come and gone!
